Drill Pad and Domes
23. White spot in center of photograph is former drill pad for test well drilled as part of exploration for geothermal energy at Medicine Lake volcano. Northern edge of Glass Mountain flow is seen at right; small domes to north (left) are "domes 1 through 5" then a gap occupied by the road to the drill pad, then "domes 6 through 8" of the Glass Mountain fissure eruption (map unit rgm) at the left margin of the photograph.
