Scientific Investigations Map 3145

The map database can be downloaded from the U.S. Geological Survey publications web site at
http://pubs.usgs.gov/sim/3145/. In addition, PDF files of the map and the acompanying pamphlet may be downloaded, from which paper copies may be printed.

The map data are distributed in Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) Personal Geodatabase format and as duplicative ESRI shapefiles and one comma delimited text file. One basemap accompanies the vector data as a GEOTIFF file for reference. An ESRI map document with most, perhaps not all, of the symbology seen in the published map plate, is also included. Metadata is both embedded within the personal geodatabase and available as standalone human-readable text and html files and as a machine-parsable XML file.
