Multiply | By | To obtain |
---|---|---|
acre | 4,047 | square meter |
acre | 0.4047 | hectare |
foot (ft) | 0.3048 | meter |
feet per foot (ft/ft) | 0.3048 | meter per meter |
foot per day (ft/d) | 0.3048 | meter per day |
gallon (gal) | 3.785 | liter |
inch (in.) | 2.54 | centimeter |
Temperature in degrees Fahrenheit (°F) may be converted to degrees Celsius (°C) as follows:
°C=(°F-32)/1.8.
Specific conductance is given in microsiemens per centimeter at 25 degrees Celsius (µS/cm at 25 °C).
Concentrations of chemical constituents in water are given either in milligrams per liter (mg/L), micrograms per liter (µg/L), or nanomoles per liter (nanomolar). One milligram per liter is equivalent to one thousand micrograms per liter. One microgram per liter is equivalent to “parts per billion.”
Vertical coordinate information is referenced to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 1988).
Horizontal coordinate information is referenced to the North American Datum of 1927 (NAD 27).
Altitude, as used in this report, refers to distance above the vertical datum.
