The assistance of Rip Shively, Scott Vanderkooi, and many personnel of the USGS Klamath Falls Field Station is gratefully acknowledged for facilitating the water quality field program with the use of boats, trucks, field equipment, and office and laboratory facilities. Jeffrey Gartner from the USGS National Research Program and Roy Wellman from Oregon Water Science Center were responsible for the deployment of the acoustic Doppler current profilers in the lake. Ralph Cheng from the USGS National Research Program provided the hydrodynamic modeling results that greatly improved our interpretation of the water quality data.
