Subsequent to publication of U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2008–5227, “Quality of Water from Domestic Wells in Principal Aquifers of the United States, 1991–2004,” a typographical error was found in table 9 of the report. 

The human-health benchmark (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Maximum Contaminant Level or MCL) for ethylene dibromide was incorrectly listed as 0.1 microgram per liter in table 9 on page 49. The correct value is 0.05 microgram per liter. The correct value was used in all data analysis and interpretation; consequently, the error does not affect any related text, interpretation, or conclusions.
