Figure 13. Relation of chlorophyll a concentrations to the ratio of total nitrogen and total phosphorus concentrations in flooded Caledonia Marsh, Upper Klamath Lake, Oregon, 2006. Shading indicates the upper range for N-limitation (10) and the lower range for P-limitation (17) in eutrophic systems (Forsberg and Ryding, 1980). Area between the shading indicates that neither N nor P dominate algal-growth limitation.
