Evaluation of Long-Term Water-Level Declines in Basalt Aquifers near Mosier, Oregon

Conceptual model of how more complicated combinations of commingling wells and zonal repairs may explain the single confining-unit repair simulation results for the Mosier, Oregon, study area. (A) The relatively poor system recovery associated with repair of the Lolo confining unit (table 4) may be associated with commingling outside the zone of repair, and (B) a better system recovery associated with repair of the Rosalia confining unit (table 4) may be associated with a higher elevation controlling commingling outside the zone of repair.
