The text version was modified. Revisions were necessitated by revisions to the regional regression equations for the Northwest hydrologic region presented in Scientific Investigations Report 2015–5019–F. Text was changed on page 4 to include weighted least squares regression as part of the methods used to develop regional regression equations. A citation ("Tasker, 1980") was added on page 4 for the weighted least squares regression method and the "Tasker, 1980" reference was added to the References Cited section on page 9. Text was changed on page 7 to provide the correct citation for Scientific Investigations Report 2015–5019–C. The citation was changed from "Sando, Dutton, and McCarthy (2016)" to "Sando, McCarthy, and Dutton (2016)."

Changes were made to appendix table 1–2 to provide corrected values for the regression and the weighted peak-flow frequency estimates for streamgages in the Northwest hydrologic region. In appendix table 1–2, in the column with the "20" subheading, under the "Streamflow-gaging stations in the Missouri River Basin (part 6 streamflow-gaging stations)" spanner, some of the regression and weighted values were revised (80 values in total) because of an error in appendix table 1–4 of chapter F.
