Text revisions required revisions to the publishing information on p. ii, the table of contents, and the list of figures. Revisions to the text of Scientific Investigations Report 2015-5115, “Hydrology of and Current Monitoring Issues for the Chicago Area Waterway System, Northeastern Illinois,” are summarized below. Page 1 A sentence stating that the Chicago Area Waterway System was constructed by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago was removed. A sentence was revised to state that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is a cooperator in the operation and maintenance of control structures for the Chicago Area Waterway System. The year of completion of the construction of the Chicago Area Waterway System was changed from 1939 to 1965, and the text citation of a work by Hill (2000) was changed to a work by Lanyon (2012). Page 10 In the text section about the North Shore Channel, the name of a reclamation plant was changed from the Thomas J. O’Brien Water Reclamation Plant to the Terrence J. O’Brien Reclamation Plant. Page 20 In the text section about the South Branch Chicago River (SBrCR), the name “southeast fork of the SBrCR” was changed to “South Fork of the SBrCR.” Page 21 In the title of figure 18, the name “Southeast Fork” was changed to “South Fork.” Page 22 The name “Southeast Fork of the South Branch Chicago River (Bubbly Creek)” was changed to “South Fork of the South Branch Chicago River (Bubbly Creek)” in a text heading and the paragraph underneath the text heading. Page 48 A work by Hill, L., 2000 was removed from the section “References Cited,” and a work by Lanyon, Richard, 2012, was added to the section.
