In addition to minor editorial changes to the text, appendix 5 was expanded to include data from 
the U.S. Forest Service for producing properties on its land in northeastern Utah. We revised a 
sentence and added a reference on p. 108 to account for the new data. Though three Forest-
Service-operated sand-and-gravel pits are within the proposed withdrawal area, these pits are not 
covered by Plans of Operation and so were not added to figures or tables (but they were added to 
appendix 5). 

The spreadsheet file for appendix 5 also now has a headnote explaining the column headers in 
more detail. We reworded the location column, provided reference citations, and sorted the 
entries by state, then county, then operation, then commodity, then mine name.
