LOCATION.-- Lat 38°55'21", long 89°14'12", in NW1/4SE1/4 sec.31, T.6 N., R.1 W., Fayette County, Hydrologic Unit 07140202, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on State Highway 140, 300 ft downstream from railroad bridge, 1 mi east of Mulberry Grove, and at mile 14.1.

DRAINAGE AREA.-- 152 mi2.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--
SURFACE-WATER DISCHARGE AND STAGE: Maximum discharge, 17,900 ft3/s, Dec. 25, 1982, gage height, 19.99 ft; maximum gage height, 20.91 ft, May 26, 1990, discharge, 15,100 ft3/s; no flow for many days in 1987-88, 1991.

REMARKS FOR CURRENT YEAR.-- Records good except those for Nov. 27 to Dec. 13, and those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
