LOCATION.-- Lat 40°51'25", long 90°51'50" (NAD of 1927), between secs.16 and 17, T.10 N., R.4 W., Henderson County, Hydrologic Unit 07080104, near center of span on downstream side of bridge on State Highway 94 at north edge of Biggsville, 1.5 mi downstream from Old Tom Creek and 6.4 mi upstream from mouth.

 

DRAINAGE AREA.-- 81.4 mi2.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--

SURFACE-WATER DISCHARGE AND STAGE: Maximum discharge, 6,700 ft3/s June 12, 1946, gage height, 18.50 ft; no flow for several days in many years.

 

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--

SURFACE-WATER DISCHARGE AND STAGE: Flood in 1924 reached a stage of about 19 ft, from information furnished by local residents (discharge not determined).
