REMARKS.-- Station established as a low-flow water-quality sampling site in 1989-90 as part of upper Illinois River basin pilot project for the National Water-Quality Assessment Program. Biological samples were collected at the first riffle upstream of the bend, and upstream of the sewage treatment plant.
