LOCATION.-- Lat 41°21'54", long 89°34'08" (NAD of 1927), at northeast corner of sec. 21, T.16 N., R.8 E., Bureau County, Hydrologic Unit 07130001, on left bank at upstream side of bridge on U. S. Highways 6 and 34, 0.5 mi east of Wyanet.

 

DRAINAGE AREA.-- 83.3 mi2.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--

SURFACE-WATER DISCHARGE AND STAGE: Maximum discharge, 6,620 ft3/s, July 8, 1951, gage height 12.48 ft, from rating curve extended above 3,900 ft3/s; maximum gage height, 12.90 ft Jan. 24, 1938; no flow at times in many years.

 

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--
