AQUIFER.-- Ancell and Prarie du Chien Groups of Ordovician age and Ironton and Galesville Sandstones of Cambrian age.

 

WELL CHARACTERISTICS.-- Drilled artesian well, diameter 12 in., depth 1,508 ft, cased to 892 ft, open hole.

 

PERIOD OF RECORD.--

 

GROUND-WATER LEVELS: June 1992 to September 1997 (fragmentary).

 

INSTRUMENTATION.-- Manual steel-tape measurement made every 2 months.

 

DATUM.-- Land-surface datum is 610 ft above NGVD of 1929. Measuring point: Access hole to casing, 1.6 ft. above land-surface datum.

 

REMARKS.-- Ground-water level affected by regional drawdown cone.

 

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--

GROUND-WATER LEVELS: Highest water level measured, 346.91 ft. below land surface datum, April 19, 1995; lowest measured, 360.18 ft. below land-surface datum, Mar. 27, 1996.
