LOCATION.-- Latitude 42°00'57", longitude 88°00'17", in SE1/4SW1/4NE1/4 sec.29, T.41 N., R.11 E., Cook County, Hydrologic Unit 07120004, on Cosman Street 0.2 mi south of Arlington Heights Road, and located on top of a maintenance shed for Busse Woods Forest Preserve at Elk Grove Village.

GAGE.-- A 6-in.-diameter, unheated, tipping-bucket rain gage.

REMARKS.-- Snowfall-affected data can result during cold weather when snow fills the rain-gage funnel and then melts as temperatures rise. Snowfall-affected data are subject to appreciable errors.
