GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,860.00 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
REMARKS.--Records good except for estimated periods, which are fair. Reservoir is formed by earth-fill dam; storage began April 1963. Outlet of lake is a fixed-crest
concrete dam; average crest elevation, 1,886.90 ft above sea level. Reservoir capacity at crest elevation, 1,200 acre-ft. The reservoir is operated for water supply and recreation. Records of
daily reservoir stage and contents are available from files at the Bismarck District office.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum contents, 1,850 acre-ft, Mar. 28, 1976, gage height, 32.13 ft; minimum, 770 acre-ft, Dec. 10, 1988, gage height, 22.57 ft.
