1.)  Factors of Safety Determined by REAME Analysis

The ambient_REAME.txt and saturated_REAME.txt files contain the factors of 
safety for 2,100 REAME analyses factors of safety for each of a range combinations 
of soil conditions:

SUW, soil unit weight in kilonewtons per cubic meter; 
ambient(12.0, 15.0, 18.0, 20.0) and saturated(16.0, 18.0, 20.0)
C, cohesion in kilopascals; (0, 1, 8, 15, 30)
PHI, friction angle in degrees; (10, 25, 40)
BH, bank height in meters; (1, 3, 6, 12)
BA, bank angle in degrees; (15, 30, 50, 70, 90)



2.)  REAME Interpolation Spreadsheet

REAME_interpolation.xls 

The Microsoft EXCEL REAME Interpolation Spreadsheet is included on this disk for 
the convenience of the user.  To use this spreadsheet, open and follow instructions within.  

The spreadsheet interpolates between the factors of safety obtained from the 1,680 REAME 
analyses for any given set of soil conditions and bank geometries within the range of the 
data points.  Please note that there could be slight differences between factors of safety 
reported in Table 4 and the results of replicated computations in the spreadsheet due to rounding.
