Comments and qualifications on the data:
Discharges from October 1906 to September 1913 from the reports of the Iowa State Planning Board. Only monthly
discharges should be used prior to October 1923 due to rough estimates of flow for missing or ice-affected record.
Diurnal flucuation at low flow, for most if not all of the unregulated period of record, caused by powerplants at
Iowa City and Coralville. Flow regulated by Coralville Lake, 9.1 miles upstream, since Sept. 17, 1958.
Daily and longer averages for 55 water years are acceptable (some whole years and all partial years are excluded).
