Program BOMCRATR for Crosswell Radar and Seismic Tomography
Before the U.S. Bureau of Mines closed, several of its geophysicists developed computer programs to process crosswell seismic and radar data. To make these programs readily available to the public, the programs and the associated reports are stored as USGS Open-File Reports on a website operated by the U.S. Geological Survey. This particular open-file report pertains to the program "BOMCRATR" and the report "BOMCRATR -- A curved ray tomographic computer program for geophysical applications" (Tweeton and others, 1992). The program executes on a personal computer using the DOS operating system; the program is not maintained.
