Kyle electrical section

The Kyle electrical section was compiled using data from 5 AMT sites across the fresh/saline water interface adjacent to the City of Kyle. These data were collected during the spring of 2001 close to a San Antonio Water System (SAWS) well transect. MT parameters were calculated from measured impedances and plotted on a projected line that trends S63E. Elevation corrections were applied to each station using a coarse 8 km topography grid. The data were smoothed, interpolated, and then gridded using minimum curvature techniques to generate the electrical section.  The AMT data are available as cross- power, spectra or impedance files in the data section.

Tri-County electrical section

The Tri-County electrical section was compiled using arithmetic averaged data (equation 11)  from 4 AMT sites near the intersection of Bexar, Comal, and Guadalupe counties. These data were collected during the spring of 2001 near to a San Antonio Water System (SAWS) well transect. MT parameters were calculated from measured impedances and plotted on a projected line that trends S75E. Elevation corrections were applied to each station using an 8 km topography grid. The data were smoothed, interpolated, and then gridded using minimum curvature techniques to generate the electrical section.  The AMT data are available as cross- power, spectra or impedance files in the data section.

Honey Creek electrical section

The Honey Creek electrical section was compiled using data from 5 AMT sites across a water filled cave and fault on the Anhalt 7.5' quadrangle, Texas. These data were collected during the spring of 2001 to image a limestone cave and fault. Honey Creek is 50 meters NW of AMT station 001  MT parameters were calculated from measured impedances and plotted on a projected line that trends S41E. Elevation corrections were applied to each station using an 8 km topography grid. The data were smoothed, interpolated, and then gridded using minimum curvature techniques to generate the electrical section.  The AMT data are available as cross- power, spectra or impedance files in the data section.

Uvalde Volcanic Plug electrical section

The Uvalde Volcanic Plug electrical section was compiled using data from 8 AMT sites along the Frio River south of Knippa, Texas. These data were collected during the spring of 2001.  MT parameters were calculated from measured impedances and plotted on a projected line that trends S29E. Elevation corrections were applied to each station using an 8 km topography grid. The data were smoothed, interpolated, and then gridded using minimum curvature techniques to generate the electrical section.  The AMT data are available as cross- power, spectra or impedance files in the data section.

Uvalde Johnson Ranch electrical section

The Uvalde Johnson Ranch electrical section was compiled using data from 5 AMT sites. Well 4 above is the SAWS E. Uvalde Well No. 4 found in the data section. These data were collected during the spring of 2001 near a San Antonio Water System (SAWS) well transect. MT parameters were calculated from measured impedances and plotted on a projected line that trends E-W. Elevation corrections were applied to each station using an 8 km topography grid. The data were smoothed, interpolated, and then gridded using minimum curvature techniques to generate the electrical section.  The AMT data are available as cross- power, spectra or impedance files in the data section.

Uvalde corn field electrical section

The Uvalde corn field electrical section was compiled using data from 3 AMT sites. Station 4 is the San Antonio Water Systems' E. Uvalde Well No. 4.  MT parameters were calculated from measured impedances and plotted on a projected line that trends S42E. Elevation corrections were applied to each station using an 8 km topography grid. The data were smoothed, interpolated, and then gridded using minimum curvature techniques to generate the electrical section.  The AMT data are available as cross- power, spectra or impedance files in the data section.
