The individual and merged bare earth LIDAR tiles are located on this Web site within the LIDAR folder. A series of subfolders house the edited LIDAR DEM GeoTIFF, hillshade grid, contour shapefile, and tile extent shapefile for a specific map tile. These subfolders are named according to the UTM coordinates of their upper-left corner (in thousands). Each GIS layer has an accompanying XML file that holds the metadata.

Located on the root of this Web site is a separate folder named Shapefiles. This contains all the vector data that was used while creating the PDF maps. These layers include the state of New York coastline, boundary of Fire Island National Seashore, island boundaries within Fire Island National Seashore, and LIDAR tile centroids.

All files are consistent with the UTM Zone 18 N Coordinate System, NAD83 Datum, and GRS80 Spheroid.
