5. Dredge [Y.-Z. Ren]

During the Leg 1A in JAMSTEC-2001 cruise I Hawaii, we carried out 3 dredges with a standard cylindrical dredger (0.6m in diameter) and a teeth wall small bucket type dredger (0.25 m in diameter). No samples was recovered from D-12. Summary of the dredge report follows. List of the recovered rock specimen are described as follows:
