Return to R/V FAY data home page. All the pagesize plots were generated by plotting the FIXSE format data for the individual cruise. The FIXSE format data best represents the overall ship's course and data coverage.
Plots were generated utilizing the UNIX cartographic program MAPGEN. All plots were completed utilizing the same base grid with a cartographic scale of 1:17,500,000 and a map bounds of 24 to 46 degrees north latitude and 65 to 82 degrees west longitude.
Plots were also generated utilizing the UNIX cartographic program Mapgen. The detailed cruise track maps illustrate the individual cruise track. Plot bounds were selected based upon the geographic extents of the cruise, and plot scale was selected to best fit the cruise on a single 8 1/2 by 11" page of paper.
