Because the metallogenic belt covers have one to many relationships (ie: belts overlap each other, therefore polygons may belong to more than one belt) attributes are in a separate INFO file called bltnam.dat. A 'relate' called bltnam in relate file bltnam.rel can be used to connect the metallogenic belt covers with this database. The link item is ABBREVNAME.
