Data management and integration

Databases developed for this project will be available to the public by anonymous ftp, either by direct access to the server or through the world wide web. Various products will be designed to aid in visualization of the results.

Available data will include:

• Annotated bibliography of paper-file data resources.
• Annotated directory tree structure of digital data resources.
• Procedural descriptions detailing the steps involved in preparing the digital data resources for project use.
• Tabular and graphical summaries of field, laboratory, and existing historical data for the field study sites and the prototype sub basins.
• Nitrogen and phosphorus loading estimates (atmospheric and land application) for the field study sites and prototype basins (depending on available data.)
• Soil carbon inventories for the field study sites and prototype sub-basins (STATSGO, NSSL, published and unpublished literature data, and data gathered for this study.
• County-level and farm-specific crop data for field study sites and prototype sub-basins.
• CNP and water flux estimates for selected NASQAN basins within the Mississippi.
