slide 21

The Total Magnetic Intensity field is imaged on this slide. The areas of high magnetic intensity are generally associated with plutons. The subdued magnetic response (blue and green) is associated with sedimentary rocks, some volcaniclastics, and greenstone. The characterization of these units will be discussed later. Note however that sample locations (the red dots) have covered wide areas of varying magnetic signature.
