 Core A2C1 was taken on June 18, 1996 in 11 meters of water. The core measured 45 cm in length, was x-rayed on June 26, 1996 and was sub- sampled on May 12, 1997 at 0.5 cm intervals down the whole core. Features noted are seen in the x-ray and water content profiles above and include mottled sediment, rocks, and some biological features, such as shell layers. No textural analysis is intended for this core. Note: The peakiness of the water content profile from 4 - 12 cm may be due, in part, to minor analytical errors in the drying process. |
