Core G3C1 was taken on June 21, 1996 in 46 meters of water. The core measured 30 cm in length, was x-rayed on July 2, 1996 and was subsampled on July 15, 1999 at 2.0 cm intervals down the whole core. The overlying water in this core leaked out during storage. Features noted are seen in the x-ray, water content, and texture profiles above and include mottled sediment, rocks, and some biological features.
