Core K2C1 was taken on June 21, 1996 in 13 meters of water. The core measured 54.6-56.6 cm in length, was x-rayed on July 1, 1996 and was subsampled on April 9, 1997 at 0.5 cm intervals down the whole core. Features noted are seen in the x-ray, water content, and texture profiles above and include angled deposits, mottled sediment, rocks, and some biological features such as small shells.
