       (c) D7C4 normalized and linearized excess Pb-210 data

       (d) D7C4 selected metals data

Chart of D7C4 excess Pb-210 data for core D7C4.

(a) Cs-137, (b) excess Pb-210, (c) excess Pb-210 normalized to the surface Pb-210 concentration and linearized using the natural log, and (d) selected metals data for core D7C4. See the Methods section for more details. The Cs-137 concentration peaks at 25.25 cm and the Cs-137 onset is at 47.75 cm or below. The Pb-210 concentration peaks at the surface and declines with depth down to 27.75 cm where concentrations become fairly constant. Cs-137 and excess Pb-210 concentrations are significantly lower for the 45.25 cm sample. Cu and Zn concentrations peak at 22.75 cm with secondary peaks deeper in the core. Pb concentrations exhibit a slight peak at 25.25 cm.
