This digital GIS layer was compiled with ArcInfo software. The files are volcano hazard map data available as ArcInfo coverages and shapefiles. ArcInfo-compatible GIS software is required to use the files. The files are stored in a single zipped folder (newberry_coverages.zip or newberry_shapefiles.zip) in this release for ease of transfer. The scale of the source map limits the spatial resolution (scale) of the files to 1:100,000 or smaller. Available ArcInfo coverages and shapefiles are described below:

nbhaz Volcano Hazard Zones (lines, polygons)
nbwells Locations of drill holes (points)

Download newberry_coverages.zip containing the digital files.

Download newberry_shapefiles.zip containing the digital files.

Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) metadata are available for the digital files in text format.
