Stratigraphy includes: PzZ – pre-Mesozoic bedrock, Ku – mostly late Cretaceous coastal plain and continental shelf sediments, Qdo – mostly late Wisconsin glacial drift, Qdm – late Wisconsin moraine deposits, Qfe – Holocene transitional (fluvial and estuarine) deposits, Qpt – Holocene marine sediments.
