Comparison of maps of probabilisitic ground motion computed from different branch averaged solutions (e.g. 2 solutions with 720 branches each, 8 solutions with 180 branches each) to that computed using the full UCERF3 logic tree (1440 branches). Using 40 solutions (the weighted average of 40 maps), each of which is derived from the weighted combination of slip rates, fault properties, and magnitudes of 36 logic-tree branches, produces an exact match to the full logic-tree result.
