Abstract
These investigations were undertaken at the request of the Texas State Board of Water Engineers and engineers of the Lower Nueces River Water Supply District. The purpose of the investigations was to determine seepage gains or losses along the river and losses in transmission of water from the District's artesian wells near Campbellton to Lake Corpus Christi. The channels of the Atascosa, Frio, Nueces rivers were used to transport the water.
