Levels of lakes in the north Kenai area, Alaska 1970 to 1992
The water-surface elevations of 12 lakes near Kenai and Nikiski, Alaska, were measured periodically from 1970 through 1992 using differential leveling techniques. The study was done in cooperation with the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, to help determine seasonal and long-term changes in water storage. Hydrographs accompanied by tables show the elevations of the water surface of the 12 lakes. A graph shows the precipitation at Kenai Municipal Airport.
