Abstract
Water resources data for the 1976 water year for Kansas consists of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels and water quality in wells. This report contains discharge records for 148 gaging stations; stage and contents for 20 lakes and reservoirs; water quality for 67 gaging stations and 2 lakes; and water levels for 451 observation wells and water quality for 22 wells. Also included are data for 122 crest-stage partial-record stations and 23 low-flow partial-record stations. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System operated by the
U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Kansas.
