Abstract
Water resources data for the 1977 water year for Kansas consists of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels and water quality in wells. This report contains discharge records for 149 gaging stations; stage and contents for 20 lakes and reservoirs; water quality for 77 gaging stations and 2 lakes; and water levels for 463 observation wells and water quality for 269 wells. Also included are data for 132 crest-stage partial-record stations and 23 low-flow partial-record stations. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System operated by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Kansas.
