Abstract
Water-resources data for the 2000 water year for New Hampshire and Vermont consists of stage, discharge, and water quality
of streams; contents of lakes and reservoirs; and ground-water levels. This report contains discharge records for 76 gaging
stations, stage records for 5 lakes, monthend contents for 2 lakes and reservoirs, water levels for 28 observation wells. Also
included are data for 43 crest-stage partial-record stations. Additional water data were collected at various sites, which are not
part of the systematic data-collection program and are published as miscellaneous measurements or under Supplemental
National Water-Quality Assessment Data for Gaging Stations in New Hampshire and Vermont. A few pertinent stations in
bordering states are also included in this report. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System operated
by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in New Hampshire and Vermont.
