Abstract
Molybdenum was detected in 89 percent of the samples collected from all the
principal Colorado streams and their chief tributaries and from a few reservoirs
and lakes. Amounts detected ranged from 1 to 3,800 micrograms per liter. The
greatest amounts of molybdenum detected were in samples from the Colorado
River at and below Kremmling, the Dillon Reservoir, the Blue River below
Dillon Dam, the Eagle River, and Tenmile Creek.
