TKgo-3. View northeast towards Eldorado Peak [MBse] from Sibley Creek Pass, west of The Trident. In foreground, metaconglomerate of middle Eocene to Late Cretaceous Cascade River Schist (TKcs) contains cobbles (deposited in Triassic) stretched to form streaks. Orthogneiss of Eldorado pluton (TKgo) visible in background. Small glaciers and moraine deposits (Qag) in valley are visible behind geologist.
