Y2K
In response to the need to ensure all computers and information systems are ready for the Year 2000, the Department of the Interior has implemented a Department-wide initiative to analyze and correct potential Year 2000 conflicts. A discussion of Interioršs state of readiness, the costs of addressing Year 2000 issues, the risks to the Department of Year 2000 issues, and the Department's contingency plan is presented in management's discussion and analysis included in the Department of the Interior's Fiscal Year 1998 Accountability Report.
