Description of Table:
Survey No.: Internal
USGS identification number.
Data Type: A=Analog; D=digital.
Survey Name: Internal project name (not always the name used
in publication title).
Flown By: Company or government agency who flew the original
survey: GeoMet=EG&G Geometrics; LKB = Lockwood, Kessler, and
Bartlett; MSU=Michigan State University.
Date Flown: Month and year of flight.
Flight Spacing and Dir.: Primary flight-line spacing and
primary flight-line direction.
Flight Altitude: Primary flight altitude in feet; B =
barometric elevation; AG = above ground draped over topography.
Datum: Indicates if a regional field was removed and, if it
could be determined, the base value removed. Tot. (total) field = no
regional field was removed; Arb. (arbitrary) datum = the base value
removed was not stated on the map; ? = unknown.
Data Source: Brief publication references are for analog USGS publications.
These
are listed as: Geophysical Maps (GP-xxx), or Open File Reports (OFR
xx-xxxx); Links are to online digital USGS files, online
digitized USGS Analog files, or to online Geological Survey of Canada aeromagnetic
survey files. More complete USGS references are given in Hill
(1991).
