Sediment Sampling Using Vibracore Technology

This sample course was created as a demonstration for the United States Geological Survey with the cooperation of the Marine & Coastal Program Framework Group, St. Petersburg, Florida. It is intended to show how quickly and easily a skill training module can be developed with no software programming. Asymetrix Assistant, a drag-and-drop authoring software and the Just-in-Time catalog feature was used to create this module.
The project took 8 hours on-site to familiarize the Training Division and to capture the information, video and still images. Video editing, video compression, writing and assembly of the course took an additional 31 hours for a total time of 39 hrs.
