Boomer Profiles

The field SEG-Y data files may be processed and plotted using seismic processing software such as Seismic Unix. Seismic Unix is Unix/Linux public domain software provided by the Colorado School of Mines and is currently located at http://www.cwp.mines.edu/cwpcodes/index.html. Linux tar files (boom.tar and chirp.tar) containing examples of Seismic Unix scripts are provided in the SU subfolder of the SOFTWARE folder located at the top level of this DVD.

The profiles presented here were produced using Seismic Unix software. The data was processed using a bandpass filter of 300-500-2500-3000 Hz and then gained. The processed Postscript images were then converted to GIF format using ImageMagick freeware.
