Figure 11. Interpretive cross section and section of a Boomer profile showing glacial lacustrine (Qdl) within glacial drift (Qd). A sharp facies change on the northern boundary of Qdl and deformed reflectors suggest deposition near glacial ice. The regressive unconformity, ru, marks the base of erosional channels cut into glacial drift (Qd). Channel fill likely consists of fluvial deposits (Qf). However, postglacial marine deposits may in part fill channels. See figure 4 for location of cross section.
