Areas of the surveyed part of Lake Mead covered by alluvial deposits, rock, and thick and thin post-impoundment sediment.  All areas are in square kilometers and are shown for each of the major basins of the lake as well as the total. In addition to the coverage in square kilometers, the percentage of each interpreted lake-floor type is also shown.
