The purpose of this dataset is to release the locations and identifiers of 86 bottom photographs collected at 23 stations on topographic and backscatter data of the seafloor in Long Island Sound north of Duck Pond Point, New York. The photos were collected with modified Van Veen grab samplers modified to carry still and video camera systems during USGS survey 2010-010-FA, conducted in April 2010 and survey 2010-015-FA conducted in May 2010.

Navigation was by differential GPS. Although GPS gave the ships' positions rather than those of the SEABOSS, water depths were generally shallow and scope of the cable minimal. Therefore, SEABOSS offset from the antenna was less than 10 m.
Locations of all still photographs of the sea floor near Duck Pond Point, New York collected during the R/V RAFAEL cruise 2010-010-FA and OSV Bold cruise 2010-015-FA were included in this data set.
No additional checks for topological consistency were performed on this data. Station locations and numbers were chosen before the cruises and two stations were not occupied, 999-12 and 999-16.
