Abstract
This pamplilet contains a complete list of all the preliminary maps and reports issued by the Geologic Branch and the Alaskan Branch of the Geological Survey during the period between January 1, 1945, and January 1, 1946. The listed reports embody the results of some of the work done by Survey geologists on mineral deposits in the United States, Alaska, Brazil, and Liberia. The material was released in preliminary form to avoid the delays necessarily attendant upon formal publication, and to make the information promptly available to property owners and mine operators concerned with the production of strategic and critical mineral commodities.
