Figure 10.  Seismic profile that trends east-west offshore of Long Beach showing the smooth ravinement surface (red line) which separates truncated beds below the ravinement surface from the Holocene shelf deposit.  The profile shows no clear evidence of beach deposits below the ravinement surface.  Profile location shown in Figure 2.  The entire profile can be viewed in the Data section or from the GIS that are included on the CD-ROM.
